About us!

Meet Izze & Jaelle

Hi! We’re Izze Schwab and Jaelle Young, the best friends and co-founders behind Iconic Moments Events.

We’re both originally from Fairbury, Nebraska, where our friendship first began. From childhood sleepovers to now running a business together, we’ve always shared a love for creativity, celebrating life’s moments, and making things feel a little extra special.

Izze now lives in Lincoln and works as a full-time sixth-grade teacher. She’s passionate about education and absolutely loves her middle schoolers—but her creative side is always shining through. From crafts and handmade gifts to interior design and event planning, she brings a natural eye for detail and fun to everything we do.

Jaelle moved to West Des Moines after graduating from UNO, where she played college softball and earned her degree in journalism and creative media. She now works full-time as a freelance photographer and has a deep love for storytelling, design, and capturing unforgettable moments. She’s also a proud dog mom to Sally and Poppy, and if she’s not behind the lens, she’s probably traveling, hiking, watching or painting something.

Iconic Moments started when we were both in the middle of planning Jaelle’s wedding—after discovering this booth and falling in love with the idea, we decided to turn it into a business! It’s been such a joy to help others celebrate their big days and special events, and we can’t wait to bring a little sparkle, laughter, and unforgettable fun to yours.
